INCENTIVE/FIT:

Ellie's incentive would be to ensure Gavin's stepfather is kept away from his child. After just having been convicted for assaulting both Ellie and Gavin (like, stabbing assaulting not a couple of punches) he is currently in jail, but even though it is pretty much a done deal that he killed Gavin's mother - and tried to kill him too - there isn't enough evidence to convict and he will be out in a few years. To ensure the kid's safety, Ellie would definitely come to Eudio.

As far as fit goes, Ellie shows several romantic and intimate relationships throughout the series. While it takes a while for her to understand her own emotional feelings vs. her sexuality (largely to do with the setting and the fact that most of the canon is spent mid-fighting a war) she has both an understanding of consensual sex and intimacy and a healthy desire for the both of them - shown both in her canonical intimate relationships but also friendships. While sex and emotions don't always connect up for her, and she sometimes struggle to separate the two, she has desires typical of a regular eighteen year old and shows no issues with comprehending consent.
